Prof. Saliu Akanni Ameen

Saliu Akanni AMEEN is a Professor in the Department of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Ilorin with almost Nineteen (19) years of university teaching, research, and community services with administrative experience.  He has served as Departmental examination officer, Coordinator of Veterinary Services, Acting Head, Department of Veterinary Medicine, Chairman, Teaching and research Farm,  and currently the Departmental Postgraduate coordinator, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Ilorin. His areas of research interest cover areas of Advanced Large Animal Medicine, Molecular Biology, Ethno-veterinary Medicine and Production. He has to his credit over ninety publications in reputable outlets covering journals, books and edited conference proceedings. He has successfully supervised 12 undergraduate projects, one   MSc. Project, supervising two MSc. Projects and 4 fellows in the College of Veterinary Surgeons, Nigeria. Prof.  Saliu Akanni AMEEN is a member of many professional bodies within Nigeria.
